I’m originally from California, but my journey has taken me across the country and ultimately led me to the city I now proudly call home. I moved to Baltimore for college, and it was there that I met my husband — a native New Orleanian with deep roots in this city’s culture. After we married, we moved to New Orleans, and I immediately fell in love with the rhythm, warmth, and spirit of this place.

My professional path began in hospitality, where I spent more than seven years at the Hyatt as a Front Desk Agent and Concierge, working alongside my husband — who was a bellman at the time. Together, we learned the true meaning of hospitality: anticipating needs, solving problems quickly, and creating memorable experiences for guests from around the world.

Alongside that chapter, I’ve spent the past 25 years in education administration, planning programs, coordinating events, and designing meaningful experiences for children and families. That work strengthened my organization, communication, and planning skills, and taught me how to create experiences that feel intentional, engaging, and seamless.

Over the years, friends, coworkers, visitors, and even people relocating to New Orleans have come to me with the same questions: “What should we do? Where should we go?” Travelers would return year after year and ask me to plan their trips again. I naturally became the person people trusted to show them the real New Orleans — the food, the culture, the hidden gems, and the moments that make this city unforgettable.

NOLA Escapes grew naturally from that reputation. Today, I bring concierge-level care, local insight, and a deep love for my adopted hometown to every itinerary I create.
